Bridging Data and Science with Social Impact
Dr. Vicki Cabrera helps mission-driven organizations use research, evaluation, and social science to measure impact and strengthen programs that empower people to thrive.

Meet Dr. Vicki Cabrera
I understand the challenges mission-driven organizations face in achieving and demonstrating impact because I’ve lived them. Before I became a researcher and evaluator, I served in AmeriCorps VISTA, worked as a nonprofit program manager in New York City, and co-founded a school for a poverty-alleviation NGO in the Philippines. These experiences shaped my passion for empowering underserved and marginalized communities and showed me the complexity of this work.
After earning my PhD and moving to Los Angeles, I now bridge research and practice to help changemakers in California, the U.S., and the Philippines use an evidence-based approach to demonstrate and strengthen their impact to advance well-being and workforce development.
